Useful and careful

What is built into the result.

Important findings come first. Technical fields remain available without taking over the page.

01

Renders PDF pages locally without executing embedded scripts

02

Uses native PDF text before optional local OCR

03

Separates automated warnings from filing or legal conclusions

Understand the method

A useful result with its reasoning attached.

This page explains what the lab measures, how to interpret it and where human review remains essential.

01

A focused preflight before professional or office review

Patent drawing defects are expensive when discovered late. A page can use an unexpected box, place line work inside a margin, contain faint strokes after reduction, skip a figure label or use a reference numeral that never appears in the written description.

The checker renders one PDF or a set of image pages locally. It evaluates A4 and US Letter page boxes, conservative top, left, right and bottom review zones, contrast and dark-area signals. Findings are warnings to inspect, not statements that an office will reject a filing.

  • PDF or raster pages
  • A4 and US Letter detection
  • Conservative margin review
  • Contrast and blank-page checks
02

Reference numerals across drawings and text

When the PDF contains selectable text, that text is used directly. Scanned pages can optionally be read with a local English OCR model. Numerals and FIG labels are collected page by page and compared with numerals parsed from the specification text pasted by the user.

A drawing-only number can indicate an omitted written reference, while a text-only number can indicate a missing drawing callout. Both lists can also include legitimate page numbers, dimensions or OCR mistakes, so each remains a review list rather than an automatic defect.

  • Native PDF text first
  • Local OCR fallback
  • Drawing-only numeral list
  • Specification-only numeral list
03

What this tool deliberately does not decide

The checker does not evaluate patentability, novelty, enablement, claim scope, drawing necessity or legal strategy. It does not certify that line weights, hatching, symbols or every office-specific convention are correct.

Before filing, verify the current rules of the selected authority and obtain qualified assistance when the application or deadline justifies it. The exported report records the selected profile, page measurements and limitations so a reviewer can reproduce the automated checks.

  • No patentability opinion
  • No filing acceptance promise
  • No automatic document modification
  • Current rule verification required
Three simple steps

Know what happens before you start.

Use this before filing or professional review to find page-box, margin, contrast, figure-label and reference-numeral issues.

  1. ChooseSelect one drawing PDF or a sequence of raster pages and a filing profile.
  2. Cross-checkRender pages locally and compare drawing numerals with optional specification text.
  3. ReviewTreat page findings as a reproducible checklist, never as legal approval.

Clear before you rely on it

Questions this tool should answer upfront.

Short answers keep important privacy, evidence and professional-use limits visible.

01Will this tool tell me whether the patent office will accept my drawings?

No. It identifies page and consistency issues for review. Filing acceptance depends on the current rules, the complete application and the examining office.

02Is the patent PDF uploaded?

No. PDF rendering, text extraction, optional OCR and report generation occur in the browser. Only normal website files are requested from AnalyzeImage.

03Why can an OCR numeral be wrong?

Thin leaders, hatching, scan noise and small labels can confuse OCR. The page report shows OCR confidence and treats every extracted numeral as review evidence.
